1. Composition
| Constituent | Sequence / composition | Approx. MW |
|---|---|---|
| GHK-Cu | Gly-His-Lys complexed with Cu(II) | ≈404 Da |
| BPC-157 | GEPPPGKPADDAGLV | ≈1,419 Da |
| TB-500 | Synthetic thymosin β4 fragment centred on LKKTETQ | per COA |
| KPV | Lys-Pro-Val (three residues) | ≈342 Da |
The “80 mg” figure on the label is the total mass across all four constituents in the vial, not the mass of any single one. The individual amounts follow a fixed ratio, which should be checked against the lot’s certificate of analysis.
2. The constituents
GHK-Cu is the copper complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, first identified in human plasma; its Cu(II) center gives the blend a faint blue tint. BPC-157 is a 15-residue sequence derived from a protein found in gastric juice. TB-500 is based on the actin-binding region of thymosin β4. KPV is the C-terminal three-residue fragment (residues 11–13) of α-MSH.
3. KLOW and Glow compared
The Glow blend contains three constituents — GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500. KLOW adds KPV as a fourth. Because the total mass is shared across more components in KLOW, the amount of each shared constituent per vial differs between the two blends; the respective certificates of analysis list the exact figures.
4. Analytical characterization
Identity and purity are confirmed analytically for every lot. Reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection quantifies chromatographic purity, and electrospray mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) confirms that the observed molecular mass matches the theoretical value for each constituent.
For a multi-component vial, each constituent elutes as a separate chromatographic peak. The relative peak areas are compared against the labeled mass ratio, so the certificate of analysis can be checked constituent by constituent rather than as a single total.
Results are reported on a lot-specific certificate of analysis together with appearance, net content and the lot number, which allows any vial to be traced back to its analytical record.
5. Storage and handling
Material is supplied as a lyophilized solid in a sealed vial. Unopened vials are best kept at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Allow a vial to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to limit condensation, and record the lot number so the vial can be matched to its certificate of analysis.
A lot-specific certificate of analysis is available for each batch.
